Growing Together: Bella’s Yard and Teaching to Change Lives Partner for their Women of Wellness 2024 Event

We’re thrilled to announce Bella’s Yard's recent collaboration with the incredible non-profit organization, Teaching to Change Lives, Inc., for their Women of Wellness event held on September 28th, 2024.

This partnership has been a true highlight for us, as we had the opportunity to design something special that reflects the heart of the event’s theme, Growing Season.

A Fun and Meaningful Design Process

The process of designing the custom charms for this event was truly inspiring. We worked closely with the brilliant Mrs. Dale Sharpe-Lee, and together, we carefully selected colors and charms that embodied the concept of growth, wellness, and empowerment through faith. The focal point charm of this design was not just about beauty—it was about telling a story of transformation, nurturing, and new beginnings. The color palette we chose was vibrant yet soothing, much like the journey of personal growth itself, a reminder to embrace change and cultivate wellness in all aspects of life.

The Growing Season Theme

The theme of Growing Season was the perfect inspiration for our collaboration. Growth is a process we all experience, whether personally, spiritually, or within our communities. We wanted to show this with a beautiful tree charm as a symbol and focal point for this bracelet. The Women of Wellness event seeks to nurture this growth, offering women the tools and support they need to bloom in their wellness journeys. All the charms we chose for this bracelet represent this blossoming—something beautiful that grows stronger over time, much like the seeds of knowledge planted by Teaching to Change Lives.

Supporting Philadelphia Small Business

One of the most special aspects of this collaboration is that both Teaching to Change Lives and Bella’s Yard are based right here in Philadelphia. Mrs. Dale Sharpe-Lee and her team wanted to support a fellow Philadelphia small business, and we were honored to work together on this meaningful project. It’s always a privilege to connect with local organizations, especially one that shares such a strong commitment to the community and the empowerment of sisters in faith.

About Teaching to Change Lives, Inc.

For those unfamiliar with this fantastic organization, Teaching to Change Lives, Inc. is on a mission to do exactly what their name suggests—transform lives through teaching. But teaching here is not just a mere transfer of information. It’s much more than that. As their mission states:

“Teaching is a deposit of knowledge and understanding that grows interest and results in a dividend if it is done with the intent to educate, equip, and empower.”

Through customized training, Teaching to Change Lives focuses on transforming thinking, sharpening skills, and providing tools and resources that lead to productive and progressive ministry. They specialize in consulting, coaching, teaching, and training, all with the goal of strengthening and enhancing community and faith-based organizations.

With knowledgeable and experienced instructors, their comprehensive approach creates lasting impact by informing, influencing, and empowering individuals and organizations alike. They serve as a powerful platform for growth, and we couldn’t be more honored to be a part of their Women of Wellness event this year.

This partnership was such a beautiful alignment of our mission at Bella’s Yard—creating jewelry that fosters connection and love—with their vision to equip and empower. We are so excited to reveal the bracelet that was given to each of the 400 women at this event.
